From Grand Rapids: US-131 northbound to exit 131 (Stanwood exit) turn right onto 8 Mile Road heading east to 155th Avenue, turn left (north) to Buchanan Road, turn right (east) to 90th Avenue, turn left (north) to Cleveland turn right (east) to 80th Avenue, turn left (north) to Taft Road, turn right (east) to Pretty Lake Drive, turn left (north).
From Big Rapids: Take M-20 eastbound to Coburn Road (Eastside Market on Corner), turn left (east) this road will turn into 110th Avenue (north), at 17 Mile Road turn right (east) to 90th Avenue, turn right (south) this road will change names 2 times from Wilson to Taft. Turn left onto Pretty Lake Drive (north).
From Lansing: US-127 northbound to exit 139 (Mt. Pleasant), follow Mission Road north to High Street (M-20), turn left (west) go through the village of Mecosta to 80th Avenue, turn right (north) stay to the right at the curve (80th Avenue) to Taft Road, turn right (east) to Pretty Lake Drive, turn left (north).
From US-127 southbound: Exit 144 (N. Mission Street southbound) to Pickard Road, turn right (west) to S. Lincoln Road, turn left (south) to M-20 (at McDonald's), turn right (west) through Remus and Mecosta to 80th Avenue, turn right (north) stay to the right at the curve (80th Avenue) to Taft Road, turn right (east) to Pretty Lake Drive, turn left (north).
From I-75: Take exit 162B, US-10 west toward Midland, follow signage to M-20/business US-10 through downtown Midland, continue left onto M-20 westbound to Mt. Pleasant (will turn into Pickard Road) follow to S. Lincoln Road, turn left to M-20 (at McDonald's), turn right proceeding through Remus and Mecosta to 80th Avenue, turn right (north) and continue right onto 80th Avenue (north) to Taft Road, turn right (east) to Pretty Lake Drive, turn left (north).
From M-66 northbound: In Remus turn left onto M-20 (west) through the village of Mecosta to 80th Avenue, turn right (north), continue right onto 80th Avenue (north) to Taft Road, turn right (east) to Pretty Lake Drive, turn left (north).
From M-66 southbound: South of Barryton, turn right onto 17 Mile Road (west). At 45th Avenue turn left (south) to Madison Road, turn right (west), this will become 65th Avenue southbound. Turn right (west) onto Taft Road, turn right (north) onto Pretty Lake Drive.
Please note: GPS takes the shortest route, which is not always the best route or may be dirt roads,
the above directions are the cleanest routes and avoid dirt roads.
Bluegill Lake Family Camping Resort offers a variety of sites types for overnight, weekly, monthly and seasonal stays.
Electric Only: Large, mature, shaded sites
Regular sites: Large, mature, shaded modern sites
Preferred sites: Large, mature, shaded modern sites that are conveniently located close to the bathhouse, have a beautiful view of the
lake, offer pull-thru capability or back up to heavily wooded areas
Premium sites: * Large, mature, shaded modern sites located on the waterfront
Supreme sites: * Large, waterfront sites featuring a deck that overlooks the lake with the best view in the house
Cabins: * Waterfront location, one room with a storage loft area. Each sleeps 4 (1 full size bed and a twin bunk bed), small refrigerator,
microwave and a coffee pot, table w/4 stools, grill, fire ring and picnic table, window fan or space heater available depending on the
weather - personal items including bed linens/sleeping bags/pillows, cooking and eating utensils are not included in the rental and should
be brought with you
* All waterfront sites overlook the lake, although they do not necessarily have lake access.
All boats are launched and moored in dock area east of the beach.
